Construit en 1848, il avait vocation à moudre le grain.
Telle était sa fonction première, mais en ce lieu le meunier exerçait un second métier, celui de vigneron,
c'est pourquoi il se nomme moulin cavier.

Acquis par la ville de Bléré en 2003, c’est l'association des Amis du Moulin des Aigremonts, qui gère la sauvegarde, la promotion touristique et culturelle du moulin restauré.

La pose de la hucherolle
Ouvert au public depuis juin 2009, ce moulin a retrouvé sa structure d’antan. Certains jours de vent, il n’est pas surprenant de voir ses ailes blanches tourner, car à l’intérieur s’activent les meuniers à reproduire cette farine d’autrefois.
It was built in 1848 and was originally used to grind grain. But the miller had another occupation: he also worked as a wine-grower, that's why it was both a mill and a cellar.
It was purchased by the town of Bléré in 2003.
Now the preservation, the tourist and cultural promotion of the windmill is run by Les Amis du Moulin des Aigremonts Association.
It has been open to the public since June 2009 and it is exactly like it used to be.
On windy days, you can see its white sails rotating as the millers inside are busy making the erstwhile flour.
